I really want to add a few plants the the tanks (see my sig).

Call me lazy, but I want plants that need to fertilizers, CO2 etc and only basic lighting.

Currently I have moss balls in each tank, and I'm looking at some Anubias Nana on bogwood and Jave Moss on ebay (courtesy of #53#### :))

So, what plants could I have? They must be able to bed in sand, as I have corys and an ADF

Thanks, Jonty

there are plenty that will go into a basic set up and do resonably well, theanubias and java ferd will be fine,
also have a look at crypts and amazon swords, and possibly ludwigia and cabomba, valis aswell ,

hope that helped

The low light java fern and Anubias will be great as mentioned, though they should really be tied to rocks or wood.

What lighting do you have (more specific than "basic" :p).

There will be loads of options, but I'd hate to recommend a bunch of plants only to find your lights are too weak to e suitable :).

Also, how long has this tank been set up, as in, how much dirt is in the sand? If it's a new tank with very clean sand, some species recommended above would probably only work well if you popped in some root tabs as fertilisers, as the tank may not have enough nutrients for them to thrive.
