he he check you out championing the oscars i am going to 1 day but at the moment im loving having a variety of different fish in my tank 1st time of stocking i want to have as many fish as i can then after that will prob get rid of plants and get crazy with the rocks etc as i quite fancy a malawi or tanganyika or mbuna setup then it will be the turn of the oscar .

brilliant ideas going on there,its so exciting starting from scratch eh?? options are almost endless. remeber to start a journal from setting up to stocking. would love to see it from start to finish

sarette paul is quite a young fella with short dark hair thinks hes about 20-21 when are you planning on getting yor oscar? shelagh i got more ideas than tanks and space main reason for waiting to do the oscar thing is that i only started keeping fish in april this year so i still have all the kid in a sweetshop thing to get out of my system . and as an oscar can live 10 or so years and what with them seeming to have so much personality that once i got 1 dont think id be able to get rid of him for anything else , so best either get do all the other setups i want 1st or win the lotto and buy a massive place so i can have my own fish house .

oh yes another thing both of you ladies. who says us men cant multitask here i am answering you both in 1 post ha ha

I'll try and look out for him next time I'm in! I've no space for another tank, but we're planning to move in a couple of years or so, so I will find a new house with lots of spaces for more tanks lol, but mainly a big enough space for an Oscar tank

Need to get the hang of this one first also!

lol sarette tell your hubby you need a huuuuuuge living room! shelagh i will try and do some kind of journal with it but dont know what i will do for pics as in a moment of drunken clumsiness dropped my digital camera and now the lens wont pop out and the screen seems to have stopped working . oooops
but my dad has a good 1 so i will see if he can pop round and take some piccies for me if not it will be crappy phone pics im afraid

Glad you got what you wanted. Choose your fish wisely though, oscars live long and can be tricky to get rid of to other people

well safe to say the camera is dead took a pic of current tank on my phone to see how it comes out on laptop. not brilkliant but not that bad eitrher. am going to try and get a cheap camera before tank arrives so i can do before and after pics ie from this tank to this 1 stage by stage of setting up and decorating
