Finally. Got a mortgage, got a house. Bought it on Friday, ripped it to Bits Saturday, put it back together and got moved in the subsequent Friday! Phew!
In the week of rebuilding, Colonised an Alcove in the living room ("Thats for my books" says my girlfriend....
"Think again" says I 
) to construct a purpose built fish tank plinth and cupboard...Transfered fish.
Only lost 2 in the move (1 female Molly and a Catfish
) and now they're all happy in their old tank, but with plastic plants instead of live ones
(Oh yes, should have posted a while ago, My plants poisened my guppies.
Iwould go and purchase new live plants, bought from a LFS, reccomended by the resident muppet. Fish started dying! All the others were looking cheesed off and generally depressed. Removed new plants, everyone perks up. Hmmm 
Plastic is evedently the way to fly...)
So there you go! I don't know if anyone is actually interested in this post by now, but it's nice to say that something is going right, instead of the usual problems
