try this for more evilness:

Evil Tanks

The only thing more evil is fish in cycling

some pretty creative ideas lol someone would prolz buy them, like they do the coffee table and photo frame ones....

i quite fancy that cistern, saw it years ago on a programme like tommorows world or similar,, how many water changes can a fish have :o

delclorintion is the only thing i would be inclined to worry about, but other than that i do like them :)

The tank isn't connected in any way to the toilet system. You treat it as a normal tank.

What does annoy me about these is that they are almost always pictured with goldfish in them. It further promotes the mind bogglingly insane belief that goldfish can be kept in small tanks. And THAT really gets on my wick.

hey if the tank was connected to the cystern every flush would be an automated water change

Depends which make you get. Some are connected and some aren't.

When I saw the title of this thread, my first thought was, "It's not evil, it's good to have something to watch while you are just sitting there." Then I saw the picture of the "toilet tank."

I have two regular fish tanks in my bathroom and probably give them more attention than any of the others. The small one in this picture was a temporary set up to house some fry.

Some are connected??? How on earth would you dechlorinate with such reguar influxes of what is basically tapwater...or succeed with medications if needed I wonder.... Do you think they even consider such things wen they design stuff like this?

I don't believe any are connected, it would make no sense. Every time you flush the toilet the fish would go with it.....

I see no evil in them. They are nice designs. As long as your keep the fish appropiate for the tank ( such as maybe, multi's, or guppies ). And as long as you can take care of the tank, there is no evil in theese products.

Also, this pic's have been posted on here before, many, many times.

So tank parameters and stocking and what not considered, dont you think the flushin of the toilet or constantly putting your coffee cup down on a fish tank table would disturb and stress the fish. "Pease dont tap on the glass" kind of thing.

I mean i dont know how they know but fish hear/feel very low noises/vibrations and i think that these tank could be really bad for that.

I did like the "science one" in the lab infront of the desks, if it were wider. feel stupid cant remeber the name of the pic

Edit ^^ The sophisticated ichthyologist's sitting room

Also looks like the "The sophisticated ichthyologist's sitting room" has a great bar

some infact ARE connected.. the water level only drops a certain amount, hence my last post on how many water changes do they need.. no i dea how the fish dont get sucked thru, but i do remember that the water level drops just a set amount :)

and like i said also i would have been worried about declorinationg the water only :)

there will laways be " novelty" tanks about, all the maoning in the world wont change that, maybe a few ideas on how to get the most of them would be an idea :)

in the toilet one you will actually see inside its a tank within a tank, the outer tank holds the fish, the inner tank is the custern....

put some bloo in the cistern and youve got your perfect aquarium background
