Bare 30 Litre Tank

i have an empty 30 litre currently cycling
what would you do,
DP x 2 or
male fighter with pygmy cories

questions on the puffers

what parameters do they prefer?
is salt needed?
territorial?

In that case you can only have 1 dp, unless it's really well planted

strangely enough, id go for a betta =D

I would go for either.
Dwarf Puffers - Fun, but very agressive and kind of small.
Betta - Have a nice personality, if you put one in that, you could get a couple of small fish also?
I could be wrong though.

Noooo lol go for the dwarf puffers i kept a betta for about 2 months there so boring and over rated IMO and were all aloud one

DP are true freshwater puffers so they dont need salt and i think you could get them to eat frozen after a while my lfs sells them for £1.99 ea so not really that expensive but if ya cant get hold of them m8 then for a betta

Fig 8 puffers are nearly always sold at lfs as freshwater puffers but they do require brackish water and then even full marine conditions as they get older or they will die lovey fish heres a pic PUFFER

Ive always wanted one another really nice true freshwater puffer is the SAP ( south American puffer ) im buying one next week online

Feeding i doubt they would take pellets but would most certainly eat frozen foods if not from the start then after a few days, and yes they would need frozen everyday also 2-4 times a week feedings of snails would be good to keep there teeth in shape most lfs give snails away so they shouldn't be a problem to get hold of

If you buy the corys 1st and you tanks heavily planted then it could work but that depends on the DP

Pretty much any snail obviously they have to be small like small pond snails would be good
