Bamboo Trimming!

I have a HUGE!! piece pf bamboo. It needs to be trimmed its leaves are starting to come out of the water. Umm how exactly do you trim bamboo.

Well ive had mine in my new planted for about 4 months now and its still growing. It also grows new roots.
