hi, im going to get a bamboo shrimp for my tank as i think it will be a great addition, and was wondering do they help with the tanning in water from bog wood? if not i dont mind just a question i'd thought i'd ask out of interest

they will do nothing to clean up your water, but they will like the tannins, as apparently do most fish.
