I have only put Urgent in the title as i need a fast response really so i can get the storage tup set up if need be in the next 24 hours?*
Dearest Mother Inlaw bought me 5 balloon Mollies as a surprise gift after losing my Fighter fish,
We only have a 55litre tank which is completely inadequate housing for 5 mollies not to mention the 6 Minnow also occupying it.
Rest assured i plan on a bigger tank for them all ASAP.
But till then i need to know how long you guys think it is till the girls drop fry, As if its in the next day or so i need to get a large Storage tub and filter and heater for the parents and will bring the fry up in the smaller tank.

The shape of balloon mollies completely throws me on predicting. Either way, you are best off being prepared if you are wanting to save and separate all your fry.

Or maybe this time around it might be better to just let them alone. You'll probably end up with at least a few surviving fry. Then you could set up a proper fry tank and go to town. You'll have plenty of opportunities to raise fry!

Think ill do as you say leave them for now, and set them up in something bigger after :)

I think it'll be a lot less stress for both you and the newly arrived moms.

Just put lots of plastic plants in a corner.... they will survive! Mine did :) and it is set up just like in my signature picture.... I took the babies out after I saw them swimming in the plants.
