Bored into leaving
A 55 will be too small in the long run, even my 6x2x2 will start looking a little cramped in a year or two if my shoal carry on growing at the current rate.
These fish get big (longer than a foot without the tail fin) and like to swim fast. Without the swimming room you really are confining them.
Add to this they are a shoaling species who only really have their personality come out in groups of 5 or more and you have a requirement for a much larger tank than a 55. A minimum 6 foot swimming length is needed.
