Badis and honey gourami

I know that generally you don't want to keep different types of anabantids together, but can I keep a scarlet badis in the same tank as my honey gourami? The badis is a much smaller fish, and looks more like a cichlid than an anabantid . . .

i did a sum reserch because i had no idea wat a badis was but now i know and have an answer it really depends on the size of ur tank and personality of your fish, so in sum cases yes, others no

I wish I could help you, but I've never kept Badis.

I know alot of "Oddball" posters keep them.
