Bad Mood Bettas

Usually when I go over to Steve's tank, he's up at the front trying to catch my attention. Sometimes he'll move into my line of vision so I can't look at anything other than him. He's extraordinarily friendly as bettas go. However, every now and again, he'll wake up in a really crabby mood and just flare at me and whatever else is in the tank, so much so that his fins blow. What do you think sets him off? I checked the barometric pressure and it hasn't changed so I'm stumped. Do your bettas ever wake up in a bad mood?

Mine do that sometimes too, i really never found out why, but it always seemed to happen when there was something new in the tank, like some new plants, it also happened when they were right under the light when it went on

Hhhmmm i havnt had this type of proplem bwfore so ill try and help
Do u feed him at the same time every day this could be making him moody
So u feed him at 9am and the next day 10am he may be like where is my food come on already ffffeeeeeeddddd mmmeeeee! Lol
