There are loads of different editions; they reissue it ever so often and get some new fishbod/veterinary to write a preface (clearly without reading it). The latest edition I found was 2005 (new 3rd edition). That one doesn't seem to have dyed fish on p. 29; on the contrary, those rummy-nosed tetras have such pale faces that I'd be ashamed of showing them if they were mine; must be something wrong with the tank stats.
