i have a bad alge prob in my outdoor pond and its effecting my fish now .i dont want use chemicals with my fish so what could i use? i have basicly no money to spend to fix this prob, any suggestions?

I don't have a pond so I'm a bit out of my comfort zone with this one.

Just wondering if covering it from the sun for a few days would help, or even shading it from the direct sunlight.

Is changing some of the water possable at all.

Anyway didn't want you to feel lonely.

Hope you can sort it soon, good luck

I agree do some water changes, and cover it, from the light.

Also try giving a good clean, filter and the gravel to, it will remove some of the nutrients that come from the decaying matter on the bottom.

If you could afford it you could try using barley straw, to help combat the algae, but only after a good clean.

Regard Simon
