Hello all...

The water in my tank has gone cloudy - kinda milky in colour.

I've not been over feeding the fish but it is a relatively newly cycled aquarium.

I know not to worry as this appears to be a common problem.

However, the jury's out on what I should do about this in the short term. I'm due to clean the tank and carry about a water change today.

Should I leave it for a week? (Some say water changes are good - others say fresh tap water only feeds the bacteria).

I guess it depends on the type of bacteria though eh?

Thanks all!

If it is bacterial bloom let the heterotropic have their party and do nothing. Only aeration could be an idea cause they use oxygen.
