Well... now we have rescued a sparrow. It may be the one remaining of the 3 others that died, but I don't know. It just didn't have any parents watching it, and it was in my backyard in pretty bad shock. There's lots of story to it I'm sure, but I mostly want to post these pics of him, as he's very cute. We're feeding him and hopefully he will be better in a few days. I don't want him to die.

Check this out :D - he was teetering on the edge of his towel, and as I moved him back, he grabbed onto my finger. He is still perched there as I type this... yay for one-finger typing!

  Lol wuv, at least you can type at all... :p I think he may make it too.. he just now opened his mouth to eat for the first time. I'm so proud..

Hey, and nice pun, you're catchin on quick.. ;)

The daughter of these people my mum knows rescued a baby sparrow and looked after it. The sparrow lives in their house and is litter trained aswell so he doesn't crap all over the house :D

Maybe you could do the same :)

What are you feeding it on? It looks almost ready to fledge.

He looks nearly ready to leave. Make sure you spend as little time with him as possible though because you don't want him to become tame, or do you want to keep him?

u may have to keep him. when a bird is raised by humans it doesnt learn things it needs to no and might no learn to fly. good luck with the little guy
