It's been a long time since I last posted pictures of my dwarf puffer fry. Here are some more recent ones. I had to keep them in a tub for the first couple of weeks. Not the best quality pics but here goes :blush:

DPs are absolutely fun fish to watch. Definitely worth keeping :good:

They are Soo Cute:wub::wub:

Awww... thanks guys :D Aren't they just... :wub:

@nelly

Will you have to re-home yours soon before you move? What live food you feed yours btw?

OMG They are SO CUTE! I've had puffers myself. one puffer I had a while back was a dwarf puffer named McGerkie who use to eat his food from a baby spoon.

I LOVE puffers. Such personality. your puffer is absolutely adorable!!

Thanks Mayu :D Your McGerkie sounds well cute :wub:

These pictures were taken a few of weeks ago. They've been moved and are a bit bigger now. Already taking tiny live and frozen bloodworms. Real piggies they are :lol:

mine chow down on live blood worm/ reserve frozen bloodworm and sometimes glass worms and used to use mircoworms but i forgot to carry culture on,when i remembered and opened tub,ewwwww :sick:

as to colombia, iam just about to post a thread so keep eye out

Tell me about microworms :sick: Used to keep them for newborn DPs. I use newly hatched brine shrimps now. Much prefer to handle bbs than worms. My adults won't bother with anything that small. so funny watching them catch glass worms :lol: But still, their top favourites are still live brine shrimps and snails.

see mine are odd,i have 100s of snails in my tank, i take the very small baby snails and add to tank,they look at them odd like and of they go, ive tried crushing the soft shell aswell to no avail :lol:

wimps think they just like acting out the famous sceen from lady n the tramp with the bloodworm...sluuuuup

:lol: They are really stubborn little buggers. It took one of my adult DPs 2 years to take a first bite on glass worms :rolleyes: . A few of the juvies I have now are still refusing everything but live brine shrimps and snails. So much headache trying to wean them onto frozen bloodworms :S

hehe see mine take frozen,luckily for me....i have dificultly getting to fish shop sometimes and my spiney eel suffers as he will only eat live blood worm,,ive tried for two years now with so many different things :rolleyes:
