Hi everyone, I am new to fishkeeping, have done it in the past unsuccessfully but this time around our fish have blossomed! We currently have 5xHarlequin Tetras, 6xRummynose Tetras, 6xFire Tetras, 4xFemale guppies, 2xMale guppies, 3xFemale Mollies, 1xMale Molly, 2xFemale Platys, 1xMale Platy,1xLyretail Molly, 3xBristlenose (yet to be sexed) and 5 Bronze Corys. Out of this lot of fish we have now approx 70 baby Guppies, 20 Baby mollies and our bronze corys have just laid approx 200+ eggs on our tank glass and are still going atm! We do not have the space to move the eggs out of the main tank so am just going to have to see how they fair until we can set up another tank :) Any advice on fishkeeping at all would be muchly appreciated. :) Thanks, Ayschia.

There is a pic of the tank, not crowded and all fish are extremely happy and breeding excellent.

Not a one for egg laying fish but ehm.. tips i may be able to give are Ensure a maximum amount of space for growth 1 gallon per fish usually. Livebearers such as mollys and guppies will multiply quickly, If you like rabbits of the aquatic environment up to 80 fry every month but sometimes maintain 4 pregnancys at once dropping fry every week. Add a bit of aquarium salt as this will give them a greater immune system and the added salt will stimulate their scales to produce a mucus that protects them from parasites and external bacteria/virus. Feed only 6 days a week and allow one day excretion period(helps get rid of nasty bacteria and digested food). The Best plants are real ones as they add natural bacteria to the tank. Natural predation will remove all weak and small fry leaving you with strong healthy fry :) Anything else you need just ask :)

Yeah they are non stop breeding atm, have only had the tank for around a month so must be doing something right :) Just waiting to see how my corydora eggs go with hatching and so forth :)

Yeah i only have fake plants in one section of the tank as the light does not reach that area, but all the rest are live plants and yes i definately can tell mollies and guppies breed alot but im not worried am going to invest in some more tanks for the babies when they get larger. But apart from that all fish are healthy and happy :)

And i only got the corys to help with the cleaning not thinking that they would breed so fast! but just going to see how it goes i suppose :)
