hydor mini heaters are tiny, could have one in the bottom, like the picture for the tulip I think it is you could maybe have something decorative rather than an actual 'lid' but things to made lids from wouldn't be hard, and i'm creative to say the least.....think I'm gonna get an Azoo when I get a new job!!!

i wouldnt trust those mini heaters, they arent thermostaticly controled.

Mel's used them a lot and don't think she's had any problems....havce PM'd to ask her though

i got one from mel, its a really good heater, kept my tank at 80 constantly... so i got another one today.

that's pretty cool, bit bummed hadn't realised the £19.99 aquariums were just the tanks, makes it up to like £40 after getting filter and light.....grrr!
Still kinda tempted though as some are really nice shapes!

I would just be tempted to make my own lid like you guys said.

the lid for my 5 gallon is two plastic paper protectors with a duck tape edge....I bent and worked the edges squared and layered tape on the inside edge too so no adhesive sticks out. works good, stays on securly and keeps it humid inside for the little girl bettas while letting some oxygen in.
