Hi All,

From reading past topics I've noticed that there are quite a few people from the land down under here. I'm interested to know how large your tanks are (in litres of course ), what type of filteration you're using, brands, fish etc.

Also, what are your fav lfs's. I'm in Brisbane so fishlette's new shop may become a local.

The reason I ask is that there seems to be many posts regarding USA and UK tanks and lfs's/brands and I would like to know how we look after our fish down under.

I have 2x60Ls, 30L, 20L and 5L. Check out my profile to see my fish list. Where abouts in brisbane are you? There is a really good shop that I use at chandler. Also know an alright place on the northside aswell if your interested.

i have a 4ft community tank, a 4ft just about finished cycling, marine tank, a 3ft livebearer and BN breeding tank and 9 bettas. then theres the shop tanks but we're not going there lol

my fav lfs is my shop lol other than that it would have to be wonderfish at holland park. i get all my marine stuff from there. theyre very knowledgeable and do all the right stuff, right advice etc

brand wise i use mainly aqua one at the moment but im not much of a fan anymore so im checking out some others. aquarworld, fluval, ehiem and all those. tanks etc are mostly made my this guy over the bayside somewhere. but aqua one do a huge range of tanks, tanks in cabinets and all in one systems. with food i use wardleys, HBH & Aqua One foods at the moment but am ordering some different ones this week to see how they go. they werent as cheap as those mentioned but not real expensive either so im hoping for good quality always trying new things i am
