Fish Crazy

Luckily enough I noticed a few days ago that I have a nice crop of aufwuchs growing in my tank.
On the ocean limestone that I use, nearest the lights there is a good layer of green growing, and it is now spreading over the rocks further away from the lights.
On some days I only feed my 'lids a niggardly amount of food, and on these days they seeem to love spending ages grazing at the aufwuchs.
It also stops the squabbling, when the fish spend all their time grazing they haven't got time to fall out.
I reccomend that all cichlid owners leave their lights on for longer periods, and allow their nitrates to reach high-ish numbers to encourage algae growth, they really love grazing!
And it is great to watch.
