Assassin Snails?

Hello, I would like the benifit of having malasian trumpet snails in my tank, but without the downside of the getting out of control. Would it be possible to maintain the level of malasian trumpet snails with a assassin snail or two? Also, is it ok to put assassin snails in with chery shrimp? thanks

It's very possible the assassins will just take out the trumpets. Any tank I've ever had them in, all the pest snails were eradicated. They should be fine with the shrimp, though.

I keep assassins, to be honest, the assassins will just eat all other snails in the tank.
 
They're good with RCS as i have both these in my tank.
