I had a fairly serious snail problem in my 180 litre tank.
Its well planted and at some stage some snails, or eggs came in
on some plants and over the months they just proliferated.
So - I got about 10 Assassin Snails off ebay. Not cheap but
they certainly live up to their name.
A couple of months later there is not one single solitary snail
left in my tank - apart from the odd sighting of an assassin still
working his way round looking for them.
So if you have a snail problem - I highly recommend Assassins as the
most efficient answer
