Doe's anyone have any advise on how to properly clean artificial plants. Is it best not to clean them too often? I've heard of using some type of bleach, but that sounds a little harsh. :)

Yeah, I wouldn't use bleach on 'em, especially if you were just going to be putting them right back in the tank.

I don't have plastic plants (anymore), but I would think that rubbing 'em with your fingers, or using a toothbrush or some sort of scrub brush (make sure it hasn't been used with cleaners before!) should work pretty well.

Perhaps someone who has plastic plants and who has had to clean 'em before can give you advice from experience :)

I think the bleach solution is in fact used to rinse real plants so as to destroy any stowaway wildlife. I didn't know this and now have snails everywhere :(
