Artificial Plant Brands

Is there any difference between the brands of artificial plastic plants? And is there any one brand that is healthier or better for your tank, or are they all just as good?

You can also use silk plants from "arts and crafts" stores. They are loads cheaper than the ones you'll find in fish stores.

do i need to clean my plants in any way or will the become clean in the cycleing process?

I just rinse mine (artificial plants) under tap water. The ones from the arts and craft stores tend to be a bit dusty.
