So I bought a python a while back and it wouldn't fit on my faucet, so last week I bought a new faucet for my kitchen and the plumber came today to install it. All is well, it looks great blah blah blah

THE STUPID PYTHON DOESN'T FIT!!!!!

ARen't they supposed to fit almost all faucets? That's supposed to be the selling point right? I am so mad!!

Anyway, do they sell some type of adapter thingy for people like me or am I destined for buckets?

Oh no!!

Are you unscrewing the aerator from the faucet first??? I thought it was pretty much a standard size here in the states!

I went to the Home Depot and bought an adapter. I thought I was pretty cool until I found out the adapter wouldn't fit the faucet in the kitchen. BUT, the adapter does fit the faucet in the bathroom which is even better (because it's closer to the tanks, mostly.) It only cost a couple of dollars.

The kitchen faucet is a Kohler and I think the bathroom faucet is a Moen. Maybe Kohler has something against fishkeepers!!

I have a Python and the white adapter that comes with it will unscrew into 2 pieces and fit all different kinds of facets.
I have that white adapter and neither side will fit :X

I have a similar problem, all the taps in my house are a stupid shape and I've never found a hose adapter to fit.
Buckets for me too.

If you remove your areator, does it screw into your facet, or does onto your facet?

I have one that screws into my facet and I took the white adaptor apart and found one end that will screw in there and fit.

If yours screws onto the facet, seperate the white adaptor and try to thread it onto your facet.

As lond as your facet isn't square or oval, it should fit nicely.

I had a similar problem in my old apartment. I had to go buy an adapter, and I found out that the part you need is easier to find at a smaller hardware store, like Ace or True Value. When you go take the airator from your sink with you. I was able to get another airator that had a threaded end the python would fit.

Can someone give me a link to a site that sells or has these "python". I cant find em in Aus. ;) Cheers.
