My boys hadnt been fed for 6 days as I had been away. I fed them yesterday bloodworms in vitamin jelly. I got just a few betta pellets left so I fed them today with those. Most of the fish were so grateful...thanks Mum! leaping out of the water. Not Rio who is very snooty anyway. 3 pellets in tank..10 minutes later 3 pellets on floor he poked them about a bit and left them. 30 minutes later I get them out with the turkey baster...what a waste Koi is saying in next tank.
So I get ordinary flake food and he gobbles one very big flake in one go then wiggles his bum at me Arent I cute..give me more! Monster can wait until tomorrow. He is cute though he has a little pouty mouth.

Thanks! Trouble is he knows he is different from the others and expects special treatment. Though I think my boy who was a girl (sold as) might be a plakat...not sure.

ps psst..I darent breed them it is too complicated and I would have to keep them all and never be able to cull and worry!!!! and Jo would have to come and live at my house to help!
