I've just been given some wild guppies but their's loads of them.

I'll be taking to a friend in southampton this week some time so if you want some let me know ASAP

These are true wild fish from River Kaukauna (possibly in Wisconsin) but been given it spelt Caucauna so I'm not sure, They was only collected in 2006

These dont look like common guppies, they have short fins and a lovly colour which includes red, orange, green and blues with the typical black spot.

So if your intrested let me know.

Helter

These are all gone now.

Esfa Hope you like them

Thanks alot, they are really nice looking :good:

I'll try tomorrow, im rubbish with cameras though haha

How can they be from wisconsin? They have dreadful winters, and scorching summers, they would never survive in the wild.

well if you read my post.

If you know where river Caucauna is then please let me know, searching i could only find River Kaukauna (Wisconsin) but note my "possibly in"
Now i'm in the UK and dont know where Wisconsin is in the US, or what the conditions are like.

I live in minnesota which is next to WI, I was so surprise that your wild guppies come from WI but how can they survived the harsh winter? And the wild guppies don't even native to WI...and there are no native livebearers, not even western gambuisa (unless its super cold tolerant strain) can survive there. Where you get your wild guppies from? So I can contract this person who import them to UK since I wanted your wild guppies but I live in United States. Maybe they are hybrid of feeder guppies with super cold tolerant gambusia? Just kidding.

LOL well of course if it's that bad then their not from Wisconsin, I'll contact the breeder to see where their from as I want to know as well.

I can also say that the group where i get my fish you can say they are wild as they travel all over the world collecting fish.

Also the chance of being feeder fish is 0 as no fish is allowed to be sold as a feeder in the uk ;)

Dint mean to sound mean, but i just didnt think it was possible, and was extremely suprised thats all. He prob got them from southern georgia.
