In Simon & Schuster's Guide to freshwater and marine aqurium fishes book, i have noticed that they have a profile on tiger barbs and the very next page one on sumatra barbs, but and the stripes are alittle different what i noticed in the pictures tiger barbs have 5 black stripes and sumatra had 4 stripes and the stripes appear to be larger but then again i could be wrong and maybe it was a closer up picture than the other maybe but heres my dilima, Online and in other books the scientific name for tiger barbs in some books are Barbus pentazona hexazona, and in other books and websites it says Barbus tetrazona, and thats soo confusing and they have that under Tiger barb, this is the only book that has two different profiles and calls them by two different names. can somebody set me streight and tell me the answer to this are they two different barbs or the same but for some odd reason with two different scientific names
