Are these Nerite Snails Eggs?

My new nerite snail has turned one of the fake plants sideways, and now I see these things at the base. Are they eggs?

Yes, but I've heard they can be difficult to remove...and as stated above, you'll be seeing more.

Maybe the pet store will take her back? I would prefer to not have to deal with eggs

Can't hurt to ask them...I've had many nerites in the past, and NONE have laid eggs, guess I've lucked out with males...

I noticed that the female one I bought was much larger compared to the other one but didn't think to find out for sure... Now I will be returning her after two days!

Yes they are, crazy annoying huh? You can take them out and scrape them off with your fingernail.
