Are These Fish Ok Together

Hi everyone
thinking of a 180litre tank,need your advice if these fish would be ok
3 boeseman rainbow
3 lake kutubu
5 dwarf rainbow
2 banded rainbow
and some japonica shrimp
i thinking of the juwel 180 tank,or maybe someone could suggest a different tank,
i know this comes with its own filter but i would prefer an external,
if this stock is ok could anyone suggest any more types of fish to add
and in what numbers,
any suggestions would be most helpful,including what rock and plants

Personally, I would rule out the Bosemani and Lake Katubus, unless you have plans for a 300+ litre tank as they get bigger. These guys are very active. Also, being of the same genus, the purists will tell you to choose one species or the other, as they could potentially cross-breed.

All Rainbows are schooling fish and really need a minimum of 5 of their species. They are best to have twice as many females than males in a group, but 5s are sometimes adviced to be single -sex groups.

I would suggest that you abandon the larger Rainbows (possibly including the Banded) unless you have serious upgrade plans and instead, consider other small Rainbows that are beautiful in their own right and will be happy in a 180l (Forktail Blue-Eye; Threadfin; possibly Celebes).

For something slighlty unusual, you could go for Panda Garra (a trio max, ideally two females, but VERY hard to tell in shop... Males get colour in dorsal and caudial fins when they settle in) and perhaps an African Filter Shrimp (reaches ~15cm, but would need ~6 months after maturity of tank). Or of course there's Trumpet and Rabbit Snails; Corys (again would need time for tank maturity, some ok after ~6 weeks).
