Used AC for my 6x2x2
Delivered (£55 deliv charge) it came to £290, great price, this was just the tank though no filters/lights/condensation glass
Few things i'll mention, it did have some tiny scratches on, after a few calls to ac and the delivery guys it was found that it was scratched in transit and not from ac themselves, got some money from the delivery company as way of compensation so not too bad
The scratches i can live with or carefully polish them out (really so tiny and can only just feel one of them with a fingernail) , actually with water in only i can barely see where they are as they are so tiny so don't think they are deep or long
So the tank left ac in 100% condition

Inside the 6x2x2 around the bottom inner edges they stick 10mm strengtheners, so around the inner 3" or so it's nice and supported 20mm thick, also the centre brace the bottom too ..........
As i chose black adhesive it all looked great, but the centre thick wide piece of strengthener looked lacking of adhesive on one side and overly done with adhesive the other
Sods law now, as i started to test fill, where there was lots of silicone adhesive there was a slight hole, not to the naked eye as it only showed up with water pressure acting on it, all this did was try to fill some void under the centre bracing
No biggy but didn't want to drain it in months/years to come to find algae sandwiched between glass that i would have to bleach out etc etc
Well again a quick call the ac and explained the problem, they sent me some nice large tubes of black silcone next day delivery of course free of charge
I cut some silicone away and used a chemical i had to hand to clean and part melt the silicone, then did a nice patch job and left for a day to cure
Test filled at a later date and all was fine
May sound like a horror story but i would use ac again (as i will be doing next year hopefully
What i would do is this though ................
Hire a van (i had to anyway to move the tank from delivery address to my flat) go collect when tank is ready, give it a long look over for scratches etc etc, then make sure you have 4 guys that can lift decent, when it comes to moving the tank carry it upside down by each corner with some cotton cuts froma sheet etc to avoid cuts in hands, not sharp edged glass btw but just to be safe
Between 4 people the weight feels like nothing
Carefully load tank into a van, have a guy stay in back with tank well strapped in, get to home etc and carry in/up the same way
Thank the now tired guys and give em dosh or plenty of beer etc as a thankyou
I will deffo hire a van for another tank purchase, that way you get to check the tank for scratches before transitting, ohh how i wish i had of done but hindsight's only good after the fact he he, but some money off the delivery company was good
So for me, Yes AC are fine, delivery you tank a chance of damage (on any delivery you take a chance anyways)
