My Sterbai Cories seem to become a lot more active when I either turn the lights of in the room or in the tank. They are also a lot more active in the evenings. I was under the impression that cories weren't nocturnal. Am I wrong? Would upping their numbers make them more active in the day?

Are some species of Cories nocturnal and some not, cause my three lines aren't like this?

Thanks, Sam

My peppers tend to hide for most of the day & come out in the evenings.
My pandas & sanchesi are active most of the day.
I guess it depends what species you have.
I forgot my albinos, they're active 24/7

I don't see that much of my peppered cories during the day. They tend to be more active on an evening. My bronzes are more active when I turn out the light on the tank aswell. I don't think they like the lights being on
