I have 6 platies, 3 of them i think are pregnant.
1 is very pregnant and i was wondering how long till she drops
and the other 2 i think have the gravid spot, but just want to make sure they are pregnant.

thanks

a bit blurry mate, the second one will pop in a few days time so keep the trap handy!

The photos are too blurry to see.

If you keep any males, all your females are pregnant (unless there is something biologically wrong with them) and you should be keeping at least two females per male that you have.

Going by what I can make out in the photos, the fish looks still 1-2 weeks away from birthing at the time of the photo.

Here is an updated picture-

her gravid spot is really big now, and she is starting to square off =) hopefully she will pop soon :D

From that photo, looks like 2-5 days.

Can you add some plants to the net? Those are often very stressful for pregnant fish, so it would probably help her feel more comfortable.

i tried with some of my plant from the main tank, but she got freeked out and starting trying to swim away from it =/
ill try again with a different plant =)

A visible gravid spot doesn't mean a fish is pregnant, just so's you know.

Hmmmm, she's taking her time to give birth, should i move her to a tank that i have set up for the babies and see if she gives birth in there? or should i wait a little longer?
she has that white dot now

It is always best to move females earlier, rather than later, if the plan is to move them at all.
