Are My Guppies O.k?

Theoretically, one is supposed to only ever do one fishless cycle in one's life and then all the rest are "tank clones." But that assumes one waits long enough before getting another tank. :D

Well one will have to wait until one can buy another filter for ones 2ft tank...

Then one shall clone away :)

regarding the fry some, not all, will survive the parents.
I have 8 left from my first drop and i have 3 guppies and some neons.
i believe that a net will just stress them and some could die or their growth could be stunted.

All the best Danny! Fingers crossed for you, keep us posted :) If you lose this batch of fry there will plentiful more in the future :)

Can we have a fts [full tank shot]
Yeah, guppy females start producing eggs again a couple of hours before she gives birth, then within a few hours of giving birth, is ready to be fertilizd again! So you will have fry every 28 days roughly.

Here you go.

nice little tank :good:

if possible and you want higher fry survival rate, add another one of those red plants [plastic?]
If you can get real plants, bonus as they use up nitrates aswell aswell as being better than some fake plants that are rigid enough to tear up long fins e.g guppies, fighting fish etc...

Thank you :)

I was considering popping down to my LFS and grabbing a few real plants. to cover the air tube at the back anyway.

If this also will help my tank with Nitrites then I will definitely get them...

Just got back from the LFS.

Here is my shopping list:

2 'Alternanthera Rosaefolia' plants. lol
1 small bottle of Melafix for my male Guppies Tail
1 Small bottle of AmQuel+ ( I got recommended this to remove NitrItes )

I am about to do another 50% water change and add the plants to the tank.

I will upload another pic of how it looks when I'm done
