Hi

I have a thread in the emergency forum but was told to post one in here also...can you telll me if my fishies are compatible..

red tail shark...albino shark 3 platys,2 mollies 2 silver dollars 1 clown 3 guppies 1 kisser,1 catfish...not sure what catfish it is will find out tomorrow but its very calm & small

If you post a photo of the catfish we probably can identify it.

Initially I would say you do have some stocking troubles going on.

What size is the tank?

its a 200 liter juwel lido tank

By 1 clown, what do you mean exactly?

Your tank mates aren't compatible, the two sharks are territorial to eachother. Both silverdollars and clown loaches need to be in groups of about 4+, gouramis can be vulnerable when solely kept alone, they are a schooling fish. The stress cause by overstocking could be negatively impacting your fish.

The generally accepted wisdom is that shoaling fish need to be in groups of 6 or more, rather than 4. However, gourami aren't a shoaling fish.

Agree with the sharks, though. Additionally, the redtail will also get aggressive towards the catfish, whatever type it is, as it gets older.
