Are Fish Cannibals?

Hi all, can you help me, i seem to have some fish disappear from my tank, is it possible that they have died and been eaten by my other fish. I have mollies, platys and some danio zebras and two loaches. i am intrigued as to where they have gone.

I have seen danios and mollies nibbling at bodies in my tank!

It is more than likely, yes. I have clown loaches that like to eat small fish, especially if they show any signs of being the weeker 1 of the pack.

But if 1 dies and has gone unnoticed, its more than likely the other fish will see it as free grub!
