Once I have finished cycling my 28L tank, I intend to strip it and clean it ( whilst keeping filter running in a large jug of tank water) and setting up a heavily planted tank. Is there a special soil to put in underneath the gravel and sand, so my plants have the best chance to root well. want to make the tank a haven for a new Betta splendens.
