Give it at least 48 hours, as the tube says. If you can still smell silicone after that, it needs still more time

Yer still a bit 'vinegary' lol- i'll smell again tomorrow!

Ps- what would happen if you did fill early? (Not that I am going to), would it release toxins and kill the fish?

we dont avoid water for 48 hours to prevent poisoning the fish. its because if we don't, the silicone will never cure.
