Hi again all

Having spent another half hearted month looking around locally and on the net for tank kits i'm going to go ahead with the website discussed here

http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?showtopic=78931&hl=

Before I start thinking of the software (CMS, Forum etc) in which to implement this, what sort of aspects / criteria would people like to see as standard in the reviews?

Off the top of my head...

Manufacturers blurb / Images
Physical Specifications
Reviewers initial impressions (packaging etc)
Quality of provided documentation
Ease (or otherwise) of installation
Build quality
Discrepancy (if any) with manufacturers specifications
General Descriptive Text / photos
Pros
Cons
Overall Conclusion / score based on the above
Alternative products (better or worse) from reviewers personal experience

All reviews would be posted ideally a month minimum after installing the item to give proper perspective. I would also think a function to allow the original reviewer to add updates over the long term would be helpful (ie three / six months, a year etc)

Other features

Ability for users to append comments / their own scores to the review

Forum

I think overall i'd rather provide links to a good forum ;) than replicate this feature. Whilst ability to discuss the reviews would be good I KNOW other questions would get asked thus it seems better to have a 'review discussion' section on an existing forum

Greatful for your thoughts and comments
