I had several potted Amazon Sword plants in my guppy pond..... Some time ago, I moved the guppies to another pond, & to make sure that I caught all of them from the old pond, I also removed the potted plants and put them to one side on the outside.
One potted Amazon Sword pland was left out in direct sunlight with no water, & I only noticed tonight, that it is actually growing very nicely... The leaves are a different shape to when it was in the water, but it is definitely growing & making new shoots.....
