I am very close to buying the AquaNova 620T with the stand but i was wondering one thing.
Do i need another from of filtration other than the inbuilt wet/dry filter or will this be good enough for a freshwater setup?
Would this change if the tank was marine?

if i remember right this is also brand is also trade as an AquaOne & AquaVital, Aquane is the more known and advertised brand, im sure its just a case of aqua one alowing their desing to be re branded. it may be worth asking the pepole who own aqua one tanks with the built in wet / dry filter in the hoods what they think of theirs, i have an aqua vital which is exactly the same as the aqua one version accept it has a slightly dif movel no & my tank was a little cheaper and didnt have the wet dry system, i personally prefered to have an external canister filter.

Edit
Have a look HERE
this is the aqua one site, which should give some more info on the filtration,

the filtration will also depend on the stock your looking to have in it.

Hi, yup looks like a rebranded AquaOne of which I have 2 and am a big fan (see signiture).

I have found that the filter system works absalutely fine but then again I do not have particularily delicate fish. My stats and water clarity are alway spot on.

I do not use the expensive replaceable filter cartridges just noodles, coarse foam and floss.

The model you are looking at would be fine for marine but would suggest it is a little tall for the amount of water surface area for tropicals. In that case would recommend the 620 (without the T), same footprint just not so tall

Thats a very nice tank, hmmmm wouldnt mind one of them myself!

Doresy,
I'm not completely up with the lingo yet so i will ask, does tropical mean freshwater fish in general or all freshwater fish other than goldfish?
Thanks mate

Freshwater tropicals are freshwater-heated. Goldfish are freshwater-coldwater
