HI all,I decided on sand instead of gravel as it looks really good, been 2 day's now and still not clear, it is getting there, but it must be crystal clear for me, or it's no good, Wayne at Wharf's said not to do a fishless cycle, to come back next week and he would give me some friendly bacteria, and get a couple of fish to keep them going, so.........filter has ceramic noodles at the bottom, then sponge and have took out the carbon filter, and put filter Matt in instead, no plants as yet ........what do you think.............

Much clearer today but not crystal, so set it with rocks and plants etc, how often do I use ferts for the plants? Need to get some......

i dont use ferts for my plants or CO2 but i think i should. did a wc today and tank clean and noticed a lot of my plants are dying or have a lot of rotting leaves. i picked all the bad bits off and have hardly any plants left tbh.

I have no fish in at the mo; so think I would need some as all is new? is that a carbon filter Staxx?
