Aquaclear Filtration

I've got an Aquaclear 30 and 50 on a 29g tank.

x15 Glowlight Tetras
x8 Black Phantom Tetras
x2 Honey Gouramis
x20 or so Corydoras Habrosus

Wow writing that out I feel overstocked but ammonia and nitrites stay 0ppm so.

Would I be able to take the aquaclear 30 and just leave the 50?


Is this a good setup for a 120g? I've got two eheims, 2217 and 2215. The tubes aren't that long so was thinking of keeping each filter to their side of the tank respectively like so:

Also I've got a 300w filter. Now I had to setup a 10g quickly and this was the only heater I had. I know it's a lot for a 10g, but over night it has kept it constant at 78 (what I need it at).

Do you think it would be ok to continue using it?

I think you'll be fine, it's just overkill. It might overshoot the temperature a little, but if you're not seeing that then it should be good. Keep the water circulation up to help even things out.

Ok I will keep an eye on it. Overkill yes... but I have no other use for the heater and better to use this than spend $30 on a new one. Thanks.
