Has anyone in the U.K ever ordered a betta from aquabid? I live in Ireland but I assume its the same general idea shipping-wise -_-
I'd love to buy one but I'd be worried about it getting here safely!

The other one I could try would be KG bettas which looks promising. Anyone ordered a fish from there? Did you get it ok?
Thanks :D

Yeah I was wondering about that... I think I read somewhere on the site that he ships internationally but then he can't be responsible if they're DOA. So I'm not sure weather it's safe -_-

I dunno about ireland but if you buy from aquabid (or anywhere abroad) and are in the UK, you need an import lisence to legally import the fish. Ive have lots of bettas posted to me they hvae all been fine, ive had 2 from kev also fine, they dont generally die in transit unless something unusual happens like a delay in arrival

Kev has always been good, his fish have always been top quallity and he is very helpfull with any questions. I know his internet has been down for a while but try emailing him about postage. Good luck, and we want pics of the Betta you get

Emailing Kev is a problem it would be better to ring him up during the day.

All sellers have to leave a disclaimer about posting fish, it is stressful to the fish and also the shipping party may have problems, nothing is a 100% when posting. So DOA even within the UK can occur, it is in the lap of the gods but as a rule shipping to Ireland should be no diff than the UK, just depends on whether it is Southern or Northern Ireland and what your local import restrictions are.

Phone Kev and see what he says.
