Aqua Pro 3

Hi guy's filter advice needed,

Has anyone tried/use one of these? if so would you recommend it? Is this the same thing as an aqua one? I'm after an external filter but not sure what to go for need something that is good value for money, reliable and will do the job for anything up to 300l, any ideas would be appreciated

I am running 3 aquapro 4, personally they are not as great as I expected, the spray bars dont seem to be that powerful, but general maintanance is easy, But I find them fairly noisy. I recently bought one of these...

Much better filter, quieter and seems to be more powerful with a better spray bar, comes with media where as the pro 4 didnt. Hope this helps.

Thanks mate, saw that on there but never heard of the make before so had no idea about the reliability. How long have you had yours? and what's the filtration like?

Been running mine 6 months now, filtration is excellent I have the 1400l/hr one and the spray bar kicks out good pressure too, using it in a tank with koi carp, now they are messy and its keeping the water crystal clear. I contacted that seller on ebay before I bought mine and he keeps all the spares for it including the uv light, so no worries there. I am so impressed with it I am changing all my filters over to them as soon as I can, they are made by Sunsun, easy to prime, clean etc I cant fault it to be honest.
