how big is the tank like how much litres or gallon is it then i can tell you what fish you need

I know the AquaOne 620T very well.

What concerns me is that you say the tank is fully cycle but if you have no fish in it right now how are you keeping the filter 'alive'?

I have just had the water tested and they have told me it is ok to add fish, i brought the tank 10 days ago,

its 130 litres

It doesn't matter if it's 130 litres or 3. I am going to suggest that you read the thread on fishless cycling Dazziboy, before you add any fish at all. There is a link to it in my signature area. If you still don't understand why we are recommending you wait for fish, please come back and ask. In the meantime, until you have the chance to consider what it will mean, please avoid getting any fish at all.

Not what you wanted to hear I'm sure but SOUND ADVICE from the respected 'OldMan'

I was under the impression that you had bought a second hand tank from ebay or the like and was told it was cycled in which case without fish or an ammonia sorce it would become un-cycled very quickly.

If, as I now suspect, you have got a new tank, filled it with water (and whatever else the LFS managed to get you to buy) and just waited a few days, it most certainly isn't cycled and is not ready for fish!

As the 'OldMan' suggested, read up and follow the 'fishless cycle' program. It will be the best thing you could do if you wish to become a successful newcomer to fishkeeping. It will also earn you respect on these forums.

Just so all things are equal I will tell you there is a method of cycling WITH fish but to my mind it sounds like more work. It will more than likely result in dead fish, frustration and eventually yet another second-hand tank put on eBay by a failed fishkeeper ;)

FishLESS cycle, it just makes sense! :D

Doresy is quite correct that a fish-in cycle can be done. I have done them with succees. That said, the fishless cycle is much easier for you and for your fish so I would suggest you stay with that. If you must have fish right away, I also have a signature link to fish-in cycling but it is intended for people who asked too late.
