Aqua Ballet Or Mating?

Had oscar and gandulf 1.5years now and theyve always been together literally,cleaning rocks/digging pits/lip locking etc,
Well this morning ive now sat here and watched them for two hours constantly going round and round head to tail in circles/the lip locking spent 25mins perm locked together not shaking vig or anything scary,,,
just wondering if this could poss be the time?
i imagine there male/female or female/female because otherwise think one would be dead by now

it is fun to watch because its like those aqua swimmers who do shows

Got any pic's or Video's? I am guessing that they would be pairing off, or about to lay eggs. Or just fighting. I would be guessing their male adn femaale, or your tank would only have 1 oscar in it! How many gallons is your tank?

well its all gone back to normal gaurding and cleaning there pride and joy<peice of slate>
