smithrc My names Russell.... ....and I'm a Joined Apr 13, 2004 Messages 6,146 Reaction score 1 Location Milton Keynes - UK Oct 3, 2004 #8 Apple snails are 'good' snails... they dont breed like mad and are easy to regulate if they do breed, you just remove the eggs (they lay them above teh waterline, every few months. they eat algae, and as they get bigger, they also eat small 'pest' snails. have a peak on www.applesnail.net for loads of info and details on species. we have 4 (was 5 ) plant safe Pomacea bridgesii
