I was picking up some cherry shrimp for my planted tank at my lfs and saw some apple snails, which they said would be great for munching on algi and i think look great. reading n the internet it says they eat plants so quickly that they can destroy your tank in days!
is this true and if so how can i tell the difference between apple snails that do/dont do that? ive been watching him and he doesnt seem to be eating any of the plants.
any advice?
