Is it possible to keep these fish together or is it just a complete no no ?
At the moment I have 3 bolivian rams , I started with 2 and added a third a few days later, the new guy is a complete psycho and reckons half the tank area is his. I currently have a 95ltr tank. Would it be better to just return all 3 rams and maybe try for a pair of Apistogramma Boreli ?

rams do best in male and female pairs IME, i would say you could keep a pair of rams and a pair of rams in a 95 litre providing its approx 3 foot long and a foot+ wide

i think 95l would be to small to keep both. what are the dimentions?
The dimesiona are 80cm(l) x 30cm(w) x 40(h)
30" x 12" x 18"
Sand substrate , lots of plants , caves but still tons of bullying.....

Rams are fine alone. I have a male and female the female wants nothing to do with the male the poor guy is afraid of her. point being you can't just get a male and female and expect them to fall in love. you need to get a group and allow them to pair off most of the time. Yet some are not picky about mates it depends on the fish.

I think if you want one of each they would be fine. just have a school of dither fish and plenty of hide outs.

Hi , sorry , would that be 1 ram and 1 umbrella cichlid or 2 of each?

In kiriyama's case, all three rams are males (we have talked on another site). Would this make a difference - I've never had bolivians rams!

yeah...2 males would fight...if you want multiple pairs you must buy a few of each gender and wait for them to pair off, and sell the remainder

If it is 2 males and 1 female then yes they would fight to be the dominant male, If all three are males then they will establish a pecking order and group up, Rams can and do live togther in small groups, providing the tank is big enough for them.
